Polish Consortium of Cucumber Genome Sequencing
[Sequencing, Assembly and Annotation of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) genome]
General Information
Consortium is the free joint-venture of scientists and businessmen from different institutions willing to cooperate in exploration of cucumber genome. The main task of the Consortium is to obtain a new knowledge from the cucumber nuclear genome sequence and implement this knowledge into amelioration of the cucumber. Completing the cucumber genome sequence project should be also helpful in the sequencing projects of other plant genomes.
